Everyone in this company knows how critical it is that we maintain a quality fleet of trucks and equipment, in order to be successful, in this high paced business. Our shop is the nucleus of our logistical operations and the major resource that all our crews depend upon daily. It is paramount that we stay focused on providing each of our crews with well-maintained equipment, that is readily available in a timely manner, and properly prepared to go to work at the immediate demands of our customers.   Bottom Line, when our shop and or equipment fails, so does our jobs and so does the service that we provide to our customers. Failure is not a variable in our future success equation.

In the past few months, I have focused on reestablishing customer relations and getting us back into markets that we once occupied. As your President, the following sentence will indeed impact our future destiny as an organization more than anything else that we can focus upon. “The future success of C.J Hughes spins solely on the axis of safety” Our ability to operate safely will determine how successful that we will be as an organization in the future. My job is to ensure the safety and well-being of our people and the companies that we represent. That is why we must look at our fleet of trucks & equipment the same way. I will always promote and strongly demand safe work practices throughout all facets of this organization.

So today, I am honored to officially announce another move towards continued improvement within the organization. It is my pleasure to appoint Troy Taylor as our new VP of Logistical Operations for CJ Hughes Construction. Troy has a massive amount of knowledge, experience and understanding of the pipeline industry, along with a love for the success of CJ Hughes. Troy will take our shop and fleet to higher level of professionalism, mechanically soundness and operationally safeness, that we have been needing for a long time.

Together we will work hard to make CJ Hughes the premiere utility pipeline construction company within this industry. This soon will become an organization focused upon providing safe, well-paying careers for generations to come.
